Individual Counseling

in-person or telehealth for Nebraska residents

I believe that our minds and bodies are capable of healing, but negative life experiences or trauma become the emotional weight that stops our own healing. During sessions, I integrate talk-therapy (CBT and DBT techniques) with mind-body modalities, including Hypnosis and Brainspotting. I will collaborate with you to individualize your care so that you may live the peaceful life you want.

Hypnosis is a peaceful, easy way to get your mind and body relaxed during session. This is called being in "trance". It is easier to integrate what is discussed in session because when in trance, you are using the subconscious part of the brain, rather than the conscious part of the brain, meaning we are bypassing the overthinking, anxious, unfocused part of the brain, connecting to the part of the brain that needs the healing.

Brainspotting suggests "where you look affects how you feel" accessing the brain/body connection to release emotional and body trauma or pain. For more information: Click here

How long does counseling take?

It varies for everyone. I believe mental health therapy is the same as physical health. Depending on what is going on, you go more or less often. If you are mentally functioning well, your visits will be sparse. When you have more symptoms, your visits are frequent.

What forms of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards, check, cash, or HSA and FSA

Do I need medications?

I do not prescribe medications. I believe there is a time and place for medicine and if I believe they are useful for you, I will discuss this. Regardless of what I recommend, you decide if that is what you need.

I live out of Nebraska, can I still see you?
No, I am licensed to provided mental health therapy in Nebraska only.

How much does it cost?

For counseling services:

Intake: $175/60 minutes

*I have a limited amount of sliding scale spots. Feel free to contact me to further discuss.
