I believe that our minds and bodies are capable of healing, but negative life experiences or traumatic moments become the emotional weight that stops our own healing. This may look like self-sabotaging behaviors, strained relationships, uncontrolled emotions, even poor sleeping patterns.
For treatment, I primarily use Brainspotting and Hypnotherapy, which target the mind/body connection. I also incorporate evidenced-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I will collaborate with you to individualize your care so that you may live the peaceful life you want.
