Many times, negative life experiences or traumatic moments become emotional weight that we carry and release in the form of unwanted behaviors, strained relationships, or uncontrolled emotions. For treatment, I use evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also incorporate therapies that target the brain/body connection such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, and hypnotherapy.
